15. - 17. Juni EAPM Conference in Breslau/Polen

Dear Colleagues,

I am certain that the location of the next meeting will appeal to you and that Wroclaw will exceed your expectations. Remember, we are all creating the program together, submitting the most pertinent topics, and your latest research results. We all hope that the next meeting will allow for valuable discussions and the meeting of scientists and practitioners with different experience and knowledge, as is always the case in the EAPM.

Wroclaw is an academic city, open to different cultures and with a rich and vibrant history, including in the development of medicine. Notable figures whose fates are intertwined with Wroclaw include the likes of Heinrich Neumann, Carl Wernicke, Karl Heilbronner, Otfrid Foerster, Karl Bonhoeffer, Alois Alzheimer, Hugo Liepmann, Ernst Storch and Kurt Goldstein. Not sure how? Just check*.

Wroclaw (formerly Breslau) is currently home to great figures such as Olga Tokarczuk, a psychologist by training and writer awarded the 2018 Nobel Prize in Literature for The Books of Jacob. Each of her novels** are saturated with deep reflections on human nature and social relations. I strongly encourage you to meet Olga at the opening ceremony of our conference in the beautiful baroque hall of the University of Wroclaw.

Afterwards, we will change the setting to a decidedly modern one, conducive to the flourishing of new scientific ideas.

Don't forget the deadlines for abstract submissions and lower conference fees!

Every opportunity is good to meet new or familiar acquaintances and friends, but this one you should not miss.

See you in Wroclaw!
