Membership

All associates working in the diverse areas of psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, either scientifically, clinically, in training, or in post-graduate training can become members.

Who can become a member?

Conform to the interdisciplinary orientation, doctors, psychological psychotherapists, psychologists, art therapists, social workers, personnel employed in patient care (social care/health care), social scientists, and other professional groups belong to the GCPM (DKPM). All associates working in the diverse areas of psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, either scientifically, clinically, in training, or in post-graduate training can become members.

How do I become a member?

Membership can be applied for at the main office. The application form (pdf document) can be downloaded here. New members are introduced upon recommendation of the board of directors once a year at the annual general membership meeting during the German Congress for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy. We look forward to you becoming part of the GCPM (DKPM)! 

Membership fee

The regular membership fee is €170 per year. This includes an online subscription of the professional journal Psychotherapy – Psychosomatics – Medical Psychology (PPmP) for one year. (Subscription of a printed version of the journal is also available for a surcharge of €25 which is necessary to cover postage.)
For associates younger than 35 years, as well as for associates older than 65 years, a reduced membership fee of €125 (including a subscription of PPmP) is available. Associates older than 65 years also have the possibility to apply for a membership fee of €50 (without a subscription of PPmP).
